Horizon Contractors understands the complex sequence in designing and completing custom remodeling projects. This may be the first major renovation project you have worked on and you may have some questions.

Do I need to move out of my apartment while the project is underway?

Generally, yes. It is recommended that the project be vacated for the primary phase of construction. This may also include a service to move the majority, if not all of your belongings for the duration of the project. A clear work area allows the construction to move along quickly and not be interrupted by moving, protecting, and cleaning your possessions. Consideration should be given to the dust and debris that is created during a renovation. Proper space must be provided for the storage of tools and equipment during the construction.
